I am a molecular cell- and developmental biologist with a lot of experience in genetics, confocal microscopy, working with the zebrafish as a model organism in diabetes research as well as doing the cell culture with human placental endothelial cells.
I isolate and cultivate endothelial cells, characterize them and do the quality checks for further experiments, i.e. for angiogenesis studies. My work also includes the support of our DP-iDP students, lab organization and the re-organization of our endothelial cell storage. I am looking forward to my own project.
