As a lab manager I oversee primary cell culture and molecular biology methods in our lab. I am responsible for the lab organization and support our Bachelor-, Master- and PhD students. It is a pleasure for me to share my knowledge on (primary) cell culture in courses.
I am interested in placental angiogenesis and I have established several 3D- angiogenesis assays in our lab. Furthermore I investigate the regulation of angiogenesis by specific micro RNAs ("AngiomiRs"). In my free time I love to explore new places and being out in the nature, spending time with my friends, do Yoga and cycling.
