I moved from Italy to follow my research interest as a PhD student here in Graz. I am working in the field of lipid and lipoprotein metabolism in pregnancy and pregnancy-related diseases.
The main focus of my research is studying the role and regulation of bioactive sphingolipid at the feto-placental endothelium. This research may open a new frontier in diagnosis and therapy of maternal and fetal morbidity such as preeclampsia.
